Q.: What are artpiazza.coms' Offerings & How to Find What I Wish To Buy?
A.: artpiazza.com currently offers two products and services:
1.

Photo Transformation or Photo Rendering: treat yourself or your beloved ones by rendering a cherished photo into a fascinating, hand-made creation of art. Be it a pencil sketch, charcoal drawing, pastel, water or oil painting, this is the most personal form of art possible, now facilitated by this unique service established by artpiazza.com.

2.

Original Art: browse our galleries of original art to see handcrafted pencil, coal, water art oil paintings in a variety of styles and sizes.

Q.: What are the paper sizes offered by ArtPiazza, and can I choose the paper size for my artwork? Is the price affected by the paper size?
A.: Unlike most portrait sites, ArtPiazza leaves the choice of paper size to the artist, as we find it is mostly an artistic, and not so much a commercial, consideration. The quality of a work of art is not measured regularly by its size.
1.

Paper size, paper type and paper color (e.g. white, gray etc.):
Our artwork prices are basically independent of the paper size. In most cases, it is not for the client to decide what will be the size of the drawing, unless the commissioned artwork is of substantial value.
Drawing sizes, as well as paper types and paper colors, may vary from artist to artist and according to the type of the artwork. It is generally up to the artist to decide what the appropriate paper size, as well as paper color and type, to use for each specific illustration. This may depend, among other things, on image size, if the portrait has to show the face only or also the waists, number of figures to appear in the drawing, hair color, eye color and complexion of the subjects, etc.
The artist regularly chooses the appropriate size for the artwork based on artistic considerations and on each artist's preferences. Most single-figure, or even two-figure,  shoulder-high face portrait sizes are approximately 16" X 20" (40cm X 50 cm). This is the approximate size for most caricatures as well. Smaller paper sizes may be applicable, though we tend to indicate in the site if a certain artist has preference for an 8" X 11" paper size.

Q.: How to Place an Order?
A.: The ordering process depends upon whether you intend to purchase Original Art or Photo Transformation service. Detailed information appears on our How To Order page, where you may also start an order session.

Q.: What are the Payment Options and How Secure is It?

A.: artpiazza.com implements the following payment options:

1.

PayPal: This is the Internet's leading electronic payments system. It enables for the easy placement and processing of on-line payments. Payments can be drawn on a major credit card - MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. Alternatively, you can use PayPal to securely transfer your payment, directly from your bank account to artpiazza.com. All PayPal transactions are performed in a Secure Server Software (SSL) environment with 128 bit encryption, to ensure the most secure environment for Internet transactions. PayPal systems use & directly interact with the very same inter-banking services that all American banks & financial institutions use for performing their on-line financial transactions.
All of your personal information, including credit card number, name and address, is encrypted for Internet transmission, thus implementing complete, unbreakable security of the information. Please review the artpiazza.com Privacy Policy for additional information, regarding our strict non-disclosure policy of your personal data.

2.

By check or money order: You may send us a personal check to pay for your order. However, since we must pay our artists for their work, our policy is to wait for your check to be cleared by the bank before we'll be able to start processing your order. Since the clearance of a deposited check in a financial institution can take up to 10 business days for checks issued on US and Canadian accounts, and 30 to 90 days for internationally-issued checks, using this form of payment is recommended only for customers who are ready to wait for 1 month or even longer before the work on their original art can begin.

Q.: What About Framing?
A.: Currently, all of our commissioned artwork is delivered unframed.

Considering the uniqueness of each piece of art commanded and prepared in person, together with the choice of sizes, we would recommend custom framing; the selection of an adequate frame for the artwork, such that will also satisfy your personal taste and the specific setting that a picture may take, will be best made through consultation with a professional framing service. As well, the handling and shipping of a framed artwork will be considerably more expensive then our current prices.
However, we do consider future addition of an optional choice of frames to choose from. Upon the establishment of such a service, we will add an appropriate framing section to artpiazza.com's web site.
