Suzanne
Morin dates her paintings back to 1982. Suzanne takes pride
being an autodidact painter, though she
has formal education in applied arts, and has taken
professional courses in info graphics and in photography. Suzanne specializes in portraying, oil painting and
drawing caricatures. She prefers to use pastel for drawing color
portraits, charcoal for black and white drawings, and color
pencils for monochrome painting. Suzanne prefers to draw on a
16" X 20" (40cm X 50 cm) paper size, especially for
single or double figure portraits, and adjusts paper sizes for
larger paintings, as required. Suzanne paints caricatures
using color pencils and aquarelle, or using graphite pencils
for caricatures in black and white. The ideal format for
caricatures is 14" X 17" (35cm X 43cm), but will
change the size to accommodate more images or details.
