Kwansoo carries an
impressive background of art studies and exhibitions worldwide.
He had completed design studies at the International Academy of
Design in Montreal, Canada, in 1999. Prior to that, Kwansoo had
studied at the Ecole Nationale de Beaux-Arts de Paris, in
France, in 1989, and at Ecole Superieure des Arts et Appliqué
"DUPERRE" in Paris, France, in 1988. He had received
his Master's in Fine Arts degree from Hongik University in
Seoul, Korea, in 1986, and had graduated with a B.F.A.degree
from Koomin University in Seoul, Korea, in 1984.
Kwan-soo has presented his
works in several exhibitions. Most recently, in 2002, Kwansoo
made his Third Personal Exhibition of Nude Painting at Gasan
Gallery in Seoul, Korea. In 1993, Kwansoo had organized
"Nude Theme", a group exhibition at Shinsegye Gallery
in Seoul, Korea. One year earlier, in 1992, he had organized his
Second Personal Exhibition of Nude Drawing at Dongbang Plaza
Gallery in Seoul, and earlier that year he had made his First
Personal Exhibition at Hakchon Gallery in Cheong-Joo, Korea. His
works were presented at Portes Ouvertes - Ecole DUPERRE in
Paris, France, in 1989, as well as in member Exhibitions for
ICOGRADA (International Council of Graphic Design
Association( and in Member Exhibitions for KSVD (Korean
Association of Visual design), both in Korea during the years
1987-1995. He also took part in an International Exhibition for
Peace Posters (JAGDA) in Japan, 1987.
Kwansoo had instructed visual communication in a university
entry preparation course, during 1984-1988; During 1990-1993 He
was in charge on an art course in the University of Chang-Joo;
during 1996-1997 Kwansoo had worked as designer for the Korean
community in Toronto, and was owner of Park Design Creative
Workshop at Seoul, Korea, during 1990-1996.
