You
may start your order process either by:

Choosing
an artist, or letting us choose an artist for you, from the list
below:

Directly
choosing your preferred artist when browsing through the artists'
galleries. On almost every page there you will find a link (saying
"transform your photo into a true work of art by...")
which will start our fully-guided order process.
Please
note:
The following section which describes the rest of the order
process is informational only, and is intended to help you
understand how the order process will look like in it's entirety. You
do not have to read this section in order to carry on the order
process.
Following
the selection of an artist (or telling us to choose an artist for
you), the rest of the order process is essentially composed of three
consecutive, fully-guided phases, all executed in a secure site to better protect the
confidentiality of your personal data:

Upload
your photo, or photos, to our web site.
This is facilitated by
clicking a "browse" button in the upload page. Once
you'll click on that button, you will be able to browse through
your own PC much the same as you are used to do, using your
desktop or explorer functions. All you have to do is choose your
digital image files from your folders (you may select up to 4
image files, up to a total size of 4 MB, which should suffice for
most high-resolution digital images).
You may also add some
comments regarding the photos that you upload, to better define
who or what you want as the object of your artwork and to give
some essential data. After making your selection, you'll have to
click on the "Upload" button once, your photo files will
be uploaded to our site, and you'll be taken to the next phase in
the order process. There is a small possibility that your browser
does not support this browse-through upload method. should this be
the case, or should you prefer to send us your photo files as
Email attachments, or by regular mail, then you will find a check
box on the upload page, saying "I prefer to send my photos by
mail". Check this box, and please remember to indicate your
order number (you'll receive an order number upon completion of
your order session) on the back of your photos or in the subject
line of your email. If you send us original (paperback) photos,
then we'll return these photos to you along with your completed
artwork.

After
the photo upload session, you will be taken to a user logon
page. If this is your first order session with ArtPiazza, then
you will have to click on the link saying "I am a New
User". This will take you to the order panel itself, where
you will be asked also to define a User ID and a password for
yourself, aside from the other data that you have to fill in
there, for your commissioned artwork. These User ID and password
are essential to protect any of your personal data that you have
to enter for your order, and they also supply you with the key to
enter in our system and to follow up the advancement of your
order. If you will happen to forget your User ID or password, or
both, in the future, then there is a option available for you on
the Login screen, to retrieve your password and User ID, and to
send them to your email address.
If you already have an account with ArtPiazza, you simply have to
log in and complete the order details, specifying only the data
that is relevant to your commissioned artwork. These choices are
for defining the type of your artwork, like opting between a
painting and a caricature, specifying the type of color, and the
number of figures to appear in the drawing, with or without a
background. You may also change your selection of an artist at
that point. All these options are available for you to select,
from simple drop-down menus.
In this page, you will be asked also to indicate if you prefer to
pay to ArtPiazza by check or money order, instead of an on-line
payment with a debit card, credit card or automatic money
transfer. This will determine if you will be directed to our
on-line payment system, or otherwise to conclude your order
session as specified in step 3 below. Once you have completed the
choice of your artwork specifications, and also completed (or
verified existing data, if you're already a registered customer)
the shipping and billing sections, you'll be presented with an
order verification page. After verifying that all of your order
details are correct, and submitting the completed and verified
order form, you will be taken to the next phase of the purchase
process.

If
you've indicated in step 2 above that you prefer to send us your
payment by mail, then you'll simply receive a confirmation page
and be asked to indicate the order number on your check or money
order. If, on the other hand, you've opted to pay electronically
then you'll be taken to PayPal's secure payment system, where you
will be able to complete your payment transaction on-line, using
any major credit card (either Visa, MasterCard or Discovery), a
debit card, or by automatic funds transfer from your bank account.
